About ARIA

Deal research, rebuilt from the brief backward.

Aria Intelligence · Autonomous Research Intelligence Agent

ARIA is an autonomous research platform for PE deal teams. It plans the research, runs it across SEC filings and live market intelligence in parallel, and delivers an investor-grade brief — every claim cited, every gap flagged. In minutes, not days.

If a Brief Brought You Here

You probably got an ARIA brief in your inbox. Here's how it was made.

When a mission runs, ARIA doesn't look up an answer. A planner decomposes the question into research tasks. Those tasks fire in parallel across three engines at once — real-time web synthesis, neural semantic search, and a frontier reasoning model — plus full-text search over SEC EDGAR filings: 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, proxy statements.

Then the synthesizer applies evidence discipline. Third-party reports are treated as untrusted source material. Every quantitative claim carries a numbered citation or an explicit [VERIFY] flag. Conflicting sources are surfaced, not averaged away. If ARIA can't source a number, the brief says so instead of guessing.

The result is a document you can put in front of an IC — portfolio briefs, deal screens, diligence checklists, returns analyses — with a citation appendix you can audit line by line. That rigor is structural, not aspirational. It's the entire reason ARIA exists.

The Origin

One builder. One thesis. No analyst pool.

ARIA started with a simple observation: most of what a deal team calls research is structured repetition. Screen the sector, pull the filings, build the comp set, draft the memo. The frameworks never change — only the company names do. That work follows rules, and work that follows rules can be engineered.

Aria Intelligence is a one-person company, and that isn't a footnote — it's the proof of the thesis. Every part of ARIA, from the agent pipeline to the payment rails to the PDF renderer, was designed, built, and shipped by a single founder working with frontier AI tooling. The product exists because the method works: one person with the right agent architecture now produces output that used to require a team.

That's also the bet ARIA makes for its users. The leverage that built this platform is the same leverage it hands to a deal team — analyst-quality research, compressed from days to minutes, without adding headcount.

Builder's Notes

The engineering decisions behind the briefs.

For the technically curious — and anyone evaluating whether the rigor claims hold up. These are the calls that shaped ARIA, in the founder's words.

A five-stage agent pipeline, not one big prompt

Intake → planner → dispatcher → synthesizer → delivery. Each stage is isolated so it can be hardened independently: the planner decomposes missions into task graphs, the dispatcher runs tools in parallel, and the synthesizer never sees raw web noise — only structured findings.

Tri-engine research, merged and deduplicated

No single search engine is good enough for diligence. Deep missions fire Perplexity Sonar Pro, Exa neural search, and Claude Opus research in parallel, then merge result sets and deduplicate citations. Coverage compounds; blind spots shrink.

Evidence discipline as a hard constraint

The synthesizer treats third-party reports as untrusted input. Every quantitative claim must carry a citation or a [VERIFY] flag, conflicting data is surfaced explicitly, and IC memos run consistency checks — EBITDA bridges tie, sources-and-uses balance, returns math reconciles.

Primary sources over paid aggregators

SEC EDGAR full-text search is a first-class tool in the pipeline. For public-company work, 10-Ks and 8-Ks beat any aggregator's summary — and they're free, which keeps unit economics honest at every pricing tier.

Engineered for failure, not just the happy path

Search engines fall over mid-mission. ARIA degrades instead of breaking: engine-level fallbacks, model-failure recovery, citation guarantees, and advisory-review flags when confidence drops below the bar for client-ready output.

Shipped end to end, in production

Live Stripe billing with three tiers, consulting-grade PDF generation with citation appendices, Excel export, continuous entity monitoring with daily digests, and 76 research blueprints covering PE screening through legal diligence. Not a demo — a running business system.

The Platform

Not a single tool. A complete deal-research workflow.

Six capability modules power the intelligence stack. Five are live in production today.

LIVE

Mission Engine

The core runtime. Describe a target and a goal — ARIA plans the research, runs parallel intelligence gathering, and synthesizes a citation-backed brief or IC memo.

LIVE

Signals

Continuous monitoring across six signal types. Watch portfolio companies, competitors, and markets — get daily or weekly digests of everything material.

LIVE

Dossier

Document vault with forensic scanning. Upload CIMs, contracts, or reports — ARIA extracts, cross-references, and answers questions against your own documents.

LIVE

Deliverables

Consulting-grade PDF with cover page and citation appendix, multi-sheet Excel export, and a 9-section IC memo format with built-in consistency checks.

LIVE

ActionBridge

Push mission outputs to email or webhooks so briefs land where your workflow already lives.

ROADMAP

Team Workspaces

Role-based access, shared mission history, and collaborative deal rooms for full deal teams.

Our Values

How we build.

Clarity over complexity

Every output is structured, sourced, and immediately usable. No reformatting. No guessing. No hallucinated confidence.

Built for the deal workflow

ARIA knows the difference between a roll-up thesis and a deal screen. Every blueprint maps to how deal teams actually work — from first screen to IC.

Trust through transparency

Every claim is attributed. Every source is verifiable. Unsourced figures get flagged, not invented — because your IC trusts you, and you need to trust your tools.
